Founded in 2018 by a Kerry family with a lifelong grá for animals, Love a Pet grew from a simple but heartfelt idea. We wanted to create a safe, trustworthy space where people could advertise pets in need of new beginnings and help match them with the loving homes they truly deserve.
What started as a small family effort—driven by cups of tea, late-night chats, and a shared passion for animal welfare—soon grew into a welcoming community of pet lovers from all over Ireland. Our goal has always been the same: to make the process of finding or rehoming a furry friend honest, transparent, and free from worry.
